been so busy over the weekend that i didn’t blog! so here’s back on a monday night to share some pictures of my favourite place to grab coffee in town - curious teepee :) i heard the waffles there are really nice but i haven’t had a chance to try them. hopefully soon haha

this week, other then the usual studio shoots that i have to do, i’ve got a graduation shoot with a couple of friends on sunday! so fun, wish i had this same opportunity for graduation pictures too. didn’t get to take much graduation pictures with my friends and the “traditional studio shots” are shelved underneath my canon camera box :P well, there’s one in my living room and one in my grandparent’s living room haha ;)

my fair lady

woah i am exhausted. haha i think this week i have officially over stretched myself. i think i have a good 3 different projects to share all lined up and buzzing with excitement in their photo frames. on top of the shoots i’m also working on an engagement shoot album design/layout and polishing up the DREAMS project. i have a ton of admin stuff to clear too once i’m done with this hurdle.

tomorrow nadia’s gonna help me with the parcels to be sent out and we have another shoot with a couple i absolutely adore after squeezing in a lunch time interview with S. ah, talking about interviews, i want to thank the SEVENTEEN magazine team for featuring my site in their August issue together with many other cool fashion bloggers! Thank you :) (will post a scan of the page soon)

ps. this photo was snapped on film from one of the shoots i did, pictures up soon ;)

i’m absolutely in LOVE with rose macaroons! and almost anything that smells like rose :) if you do too say {YAY!} haha

black & white exhibit

R1-24R1-23R1-22R1-21

that day after dinner, we headed down to orchard ion to get our fill of awfully chocolate’s ice cream (yum!) and then i made him check out ION Art that was having this photo exhibit. it was quite funny but sad too because some of the photographs were real war scenes and one or two had lots of dead bodies. what the artist was that he super-imposed comic book heroes & villains into historic photos. plays with your mind ;)

boats and sparkling water

here’s the story behind the light streaks. haha i visited cat socrates (happy) and bought myself a Solaris film ISO 200 (very happy) popped it into my film camera (excited) closed the cover (very excited), over wound the film, tried to “rewind” it back and accidentally rewound the film into the casing and i couldn’t take it out. haha

so i left it on my shelf for a while and nadia one day told me that she did the same thing once and managed to salvage that film. so with a tweezer and some brute force she pried the film out of the canister. the film that was “damaged” produced these awesome light streaks.

i brought this film out with me when ken planned a date to sentosa cove. we ate salami pizza, shepherd’s pie and a beef & mango wrap with fries. yummy!! then we walked along the area all the way to face the open sea. it was pretty cool and relaxing :) i like these kind of endings to the day, it’s perfect!
