i can’t remember when i started working on the project. yup, that’s probably how long ago i started. but i know i kept delaying the launch date. i guess part of me wasn’t sure. i mean, it was my dream to have a magazine (that’s why my blog was called cherry magazine) but do i have any experience? touch and go. so there was this resistance and fear about whether the magazine was good enough and such. but i guess, that’s the whole point of dreams magazine. it’s that you have a dream or an idea and then you have fears and resistance. despite that, you’ll break through it and work on your dream. 

part of me is afraid and yet part of me is not afraid of failure, or of imperfections. because my dreams are always a work in progress and i’m always aiming for it to get better. so come along with me and the team on this journey and if you’ve got a story to share do drop me an email too :)

you might recognize Kylie from the first “dreamer” video (click). who by the way creates amazing surrealist photographs which she produces with a 500D and ounces of creativity. so if you think the dslr you own is not good enough, re-think it ;)

I’m off to get ready for my very early photoshoot at sentosa but before that, i thought i’d share with you this video i made with kylie. kylie’s our very first person we interviewed for dreams magazine! 

kylie studies in hawaii but she’s back for the summer holidays and she says that even though hawaii is so beautiful, it just does not feel like home. we had oodles of cakes and coffee at Kki (which i realized can be pronounced as “cak-ee” haha) and browsed the little drom store where we picked up a “singlish” dictionary and shared a joke of how kylie should get it as revision. haha

it was really fun hanging out, more pictures soon!

now i’m off to get changed into some denim shorts and a boy’s tee. have a good day ;)
